Title: Multiple devices, how to handle? Author: Vih Posted the: 02 Jun 2026 18:24 Category: Reticulum, Makers

Multiple devices, how to handle?

So... how to manage multiple identities? Due to the nature of announces and routing, an identity can be at most at one device; so how to protocol "these identities are of one person"? Similar to network identities, but for people. How should we do it? Perhaps a specific destination? Something like "device.identity.owner" or something? Then it returns the device pubkey signed with the person identity? Bouncing ideas here

Reply: I've started importing my identity to each device, then only announcing from the device I want to receive messages on.
